Remember the sweet tune of the ice cream truck as it strode along the winding roads?

Remember the taste of the ice cream sliding down your throat?

That was Aviemore.

Remember the dark starry nights with the wind brusling the trees?

Remember the birds tweeting when your trying to have a sleep in with the pillows over your head?

That was Aviemore.

Remember the beautiful sight of the birds flying through the sparkling crystal waves?

Remember the feeling of the popping bubbles from the rock sinking into the deep blue?

That was Aviemore.

My favourite book

My favourite book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling.

I love this book because there are mythical creatures and magic. I also like it because there's other wizarding schools.

Books, books and more books

It was Wednesday the 9th of April and that day was a special day,because an author was coming to Waimate Centennial school.  It was Julia Cook. After Julia Cook read three stories in the hall it was playtime. After playtime three groups went to Julia Cook because we could get ideas about  writing.I was in one of them. Near the end Julia Cook signed our writing books.
