Summary of Sam'n` Tommy and the Snakeman

Pauline Cartwright is a very famous writer.
This is a book about Sam and Tommy. Sam and Tommy get kidnapped by the Snakeman. Sam has to steel food from the angry man.

Pigs and Deer Hunting

It was the first hunt of my life. I got ready. Got my gun and my knife. Well, not really my gun.

I went to pick up my friend then drove up in the Ford. We’re there.

I had a stretch and put my bag on and put the gun strap around me. We started to walk and it was very very quiet. Well, you never know what you might see.

There was a big big stag in the distance, the biggest one my friend had ever seen. I aimed up at the stag. My friend Mitchell had his gun up just in case, and then BOOM, my first shot at a stag.

Click, click BOOM. 2^nd shot. Bang. It fell to the ground. It had 18 spikes on its antlers. We stayed the night at the camp out. The next day my Dad came. Dad said “We need to go pig hunting.”

We took the dogs. We did not even go 2 km. A 300 pound boar was very very close. The dogs were baling at the pig. It had big tusks. I went to stick it and it ripped my pants so I said “You are going down”. I stuck it in the heart and tied a rope on to the legs of the pig and carried it all the way back.

I said to Dad “I think I am going to do that all my life.”

BEN'S FUN

When I got home I went on my 110 motor bike and I  went on my dad's hill. I went to see my dad's duck pond. I went to see mine and it had no water at all. But my maimai was fine. I decided to go home and have a Milo and toastie and a Muffin. And then I went to rugby.

When I got back from school  our farm was flood .We have a little strem  on our farm. I nomrally go swmming in there and rowing it is fun.

There are heaps of scientists who discover stuff. They study things like animals and the weather. A scientist who studies animals is called a zoologist.

nz citizenship

A NZ citizen is a person who has NZ citizenship. There are three ways to be came a NZ citizen . If you were born in NZ  you are a NZ citizen by birth.You can be came a captain for the ALL BLACKS. 

By grant: you have to wait 5 years to be a NZ citizen but you have to sign a form to go to a ceremony. you can hold the bible or the koran if you want to or you can do the affirmation of alligance. You will get a certificate at the end. They will ask you to come for afternoon tea.

The best thing in the holidays was going to Hamner. I went on the water slide and I saw Reece there. I went on the superbowl. We stayed there for 5 days.
