Jack's remember summer poem

That was summer

Remember the scorching hot sand burning our feet at the beach and you sprinted like a cheetah back to the car to get an ice cream but the ice creams were melting?
Remember the cold ice cream tickling my throat as it went down?
That was summer.

Remember when you were screaming in the cold water at the beach and your teeth chattered?
Remember us watching movies and eat all the popcorn and I was so angry that I just wanted to go to bed?
That was summer.

Remember the smell of the hot dogs on the bbq at the picnic in the park and you wanted to eat because you were hungry?
Do you remember when you ate two ice creams and you thought it would freeze you as it went down your throat?

That was summer.
